The island of Madagascar is the world’s fourth-largest island and few places on earth offer such an intense kaleidoscope of nature.  The list of endemic species here is extraordinary: 5% of all known animal and plant species can be found here, and here alone.

The climate is subtropical, with a hot and rainy season between November and April (summer), and a cooler dry season from May to October (winter).  Home to a lengthy coastline Madagascar boasts more than its fair share of beaches and coastal attractions and gives visitors to this fascinating country a chance to enjoy an abundance of marine life and beautiful coral reefs.
